- In July, a drought and heat wave hit
Moldova, reaching up to 104 degrees Fahrenheit. Crops in that nation
wilted from intense heat and lack of rain, and food prices are expected to
increase in the upcoming months. As a result, the Gagauz Farm project,
which grows grapes, wheat, corn and sunflowers, lost all of its corn and
sunflower crops. Additionally, the farm lost a portion of its vineyard.
Farmers diligently worked to bring water to the grapevines with a tractor
but were able to only save half of the crop. Pray for the much-needed rain
- since most Moldovan farmers do not have an irrigation system. Pray as
the Global Empowerment Ministry searches for God's long-term solutions to
these growing problems.
