Matthew 25:40 "...Inasmuch as you have done it unto the least of these, you have done it unto me" - Jesus

Over the years, International Interns has endeavored to meet the physical and spiritual needs of the people throughout Eastern Europe with Jesus' love and compassion...

  • NURTURING BODY &SOUL
Dr. Robert Carpenter, a spry 83-year-old retired doctor, served with a short-term missionary team in Moldova. He took the Mobile Clinic to Orhei and surrounding villages. At times, 20 to 30 people waited in long lines. After receiving medical treatment, team counselors shared the gospel with the "patients."

  •  RECOVERY MINISTRY
Vladimir, one of the 10 graduates from the 2007 Central Moldova class, is actively involved in a recovery ministry among drug-addicted people in Rezina. This city  has one of the highest percentages of drug users and addicts in Moldova. Vladimir's ministry works with students in schools, raising the awareness of drugs, alcohol, smoking, abortion and sex. His goal is to see believing youth in Rezina and its neighboring village united by the love of Christ.

  • ORPHAN OUTREACH
After her January vision trip in 2007, Stephanie developed a love for the disabled children of Saransk, Russia. her trip has opened doors to an orphanage ministry in Saransk, the capitol of Mordovia.

  • SHARING HOPE
International Interns raised money to treat 2-uear-old Matthew Petrov, son of LDI graduate, Ion Petrov, in Saransk, Russia, who suffered from leukemia. Despite numerous treatments and nutritional supplements, little Matthew passed away on January 13, 2007. His last words were, "I go home."
