The Children's Ministry of International Interns seeks to introduce
children to Jesus Christ in Eastern Europe and Central Asia and to help
them grow in His Word.
Evangelistic programs for children are held
by teams and Leadership Development Institute students throughout the
year.
LDI students and teams are equipped with skills and
resources in child evangelism and discipleship through training.
The Children's Ministry has reached out to children of the following
groups: Moldovans, Romanians, Hungarians, Yugoslavians, Kazakhs, and
Children of International Students in Moldova from Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan,
Russia, Ukraine, and Georgia.

"Yes,
Let the Children Come" |

It
has been a long winter, but not for
Leadership Development Students in Moldova who have dedicated their
ministry to children. Students like Ion Godoroja, from Sarcani,
Central Moldova, focus on children’s ministry. Ion recently started a
children’s ministry, that has seen many children come to know Jesus.
Alexei Advahov held a 3-day camp for 45 children in Southwest Moldova.
It was so effective that he is planning an outreach to non-Christian
children and youth through a new sports ministry.
Serghei Kuzmenco also in Southwest Moldova, shares the same passion
for children, teens and youth. “I would like to set a great accent on
children, teenagers and youth. This is the future of the church,” Kuzmenco said.
However, this ministry wouldn’t be possible without the training and
support of brothers and sisters in Christ overseas.
“I often remember brothers who contributed to my personal spiritual
growth, and to become useful to the Lord. I love learning from you,”
said Gheorghe Gheorghian, an LDI coordinator in Central Moldova.
Despite trials and setbacks these brothers in Christ fulfill their
calling through children’s ministries.
“Now, looking to the ‘footprints in the valley,’ I cannot say anything
less except what Apostle Paul said once: ‘Blessed be the God and
Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! He has blessed us in Christ with
every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms,’” said LDI
coordinator in Central Moldova, Alexei Bucsanu.
